someone should hire me...

Recently I've come to the conclusion that I can write storylines for Disney Channel Original movies just as good if not better than anyone else. In fact, I am so confident in my abilities that I've actually decided to make this:

Disney Channel Original Movie Generator Version 1.0

alright everyone...this shouldn't be too hard. You can create your own Disney Channel Original Movie from the comfort of your own home. Let's begin:

Step 1: Choose female character's name
Step 2: Choose second female character's name
Step 3: Choose the obstacle (i.e. race, handicap, sexual orientation, violence, religion)
Step 4. Choose a high school sport/activity that no one actually likes
Step 5. Choose the coach's name
Step 6. Choose whether the coach will be played by Tina Fey or Tim Meadows
Step 7. Choose the final scene (just take the sport/activity and add "State Finals")
Step 8. Choose the lesson learned (i.e. friendship, equality, respect, tolerance)

ready? now let's write the script:

When (1) moved into her new town, she knew right away she didn't fit in. But when she noticed the signs for tryouts for the (4) team, she saw her chance to finally prove herself. After not making the tryout, (1) was crushed. But didn't give up. She knew that (2) didn't want her to make the team because she was (3). After a series of scenes where (1) cries to her parents and says she wants to go back home, she finally decides she is going to make the team.

Finally, (1) makes the team. But there is much tension. The other girls, especially (2) aren't sure about her abilities. With (7) just three weeks away, the girls must learn to overcome their differences. Practices become very tense. At the height of the tension, practice has to be broken up by (5), played by (6) ,after (2) shouts that she will never amount to anything because she is (3). (1) then walks out and does not show up to practice the next day.

*Montage*

When (1) arrives home from school a few days later, she finds (2) waiting on her porch. (2) apologies and says that she shouldn't treat (1) any different just because she is (3). She invites (1) to join the team, adding "How will we win (7) without you!?"

*Montage*

The (4) team arrives at (7) more excited than ever. The competition is intense, but thanks to (1), the team wins. As the packed stadium cheers for the champions, the team celebrates together with (5). In the midst of the celebration, (1) and (2) slip away. (2) tells (1) that she is a lot different than she thought she was, and that (1) had really taught her something about (8). The team then proceeds to lift up both (1) and (2) and the two reach out and grab hands, lifting them into the air.

They really should pay you for that. You should patent it.

so true. my personal favorite is probably "smart house". except for the fact that it goes off of your guidelines just a little. But other than that...your blog presents things that people have known for many generations, but just haven't realized it. Disney channel is really just trying to corrupt and take over the world with the same storyline. The writer is probably going to find a way to sue you, so be on your toes and watch out for him!

this reminds me of a video i just saw.
of course, its not quite as funny as you...but nothing should be expected to live up to those expectations...
